Angry and frustrated..
Have anyone of you feel this 'two annoying things' at the same time?
You are angry. Unfortunately, you can't do anything, you wanna blow it but you can't. Alas, you feel so frustrated. Deep inside, when you start to say to yourself..
"I had enough of this!".
Devastated... feeling down in the dumps..
Feeling like you wanna be alone, wanna cut off any contact with anybody !
That's it, this is the limit. Time to say Goodbye! Adios!!!
Hehe..
( reading this, my friend, kilah will surely say to me - Apsal ko? Apa dah jadik?)
I was myself at some point had the same feeling too. There are few things in life that you don't have the guts to express your frustration and anger, feeling that there's no point of revealing the truth.
That's when I remember something that I've watched a few days ago.
How many fingers do you see ?
This old pseudo-phsycho man was asking Patch, "Look here, how many do you see?". Obviously, the answer is four ! He was showing 4 of his fingers right in front of Patch's face.
"Four fingers", Patch answered, being puzzled with this what-on-earth-question.
"No no no...Look at me. You are focusing on the problem. You focusing on the problem, you cannot see the solution".
"What?!", Patch was getting more confused.
"Never focus on the problem, look at me...How many do you see?".
Patch still gave the same answer.
The old man asked again, " Look beyond the fingers ! How many do you see?".
He looked again, trying to make it possible what this old man have said - Look beyond it !
He looked at him, directing his attention to this old man face. A blurred image of the fingers started to appear. Double vision. Diplopia ?
" Ermm..eight ? ", hesitating his own answer.
The old man smiled, " Yes, yes! Eight is a good answer !
See what no one else see.
See what everyone else chooses not to see.
the whole world the new, EACH DAY ! ".
Ermmm..
Ok enough with this syok-sendiri mode. Think that the way I'm writing this scene is not as good as you watching it by yourself..hehe
Patch Adam - An eye-opening story about a brilliant genius man who has the passion to improve the quality of human life.
In short - he wanna be a doctor..A GREAT doctor ^_^
I bet most of you have watched it. I don't remember wether I've watch this film before or not, but after 6 years studying medicine, competing my MBBS, at the moment i finished watching it, I started to think that being a doctor is more than what I expect and what I think it might be one day. Everything is inside you, all you need is only you, yourself, choosing what's the best for you.
Never focus on the problem. Never ever. Because it will just put you in a latent phase and being lazy to just walk away. I admit that it's hard. Well, you need to sacrifice all the bad feeling for the sake of a better living, fulfilling your short life before you die one day. No harm of having a few moment to cry and feel i-wanna-be-alone, alone in your own 'cave'. Give yourself the chance to express the feeling indirectly. Don't suppress it. You'll be more frustrated if you try to pretend that you are cool enough not to cry or try to be in a i-don't-give-a-damn mode.
Every problem is actually an opportunity. Opportunity to learn new stuff. Facing new experience. Learn to accept. Learn to forgive. Learn to be patience. Learn to become a better person. Indeed, it's easy to say. But practically, most of the time, we'll tend to forget all this stuff. All the bad feeling and negative thoughts will surround us. This is normal. Even one of my good friend, Faeza did remind me of something which is so precious - Why the famous hadith about ukhuwwah, where our beloved Prophet, Rasulullah s.a.w did remind us that we should not let more than three days expire without communicating to somebody because of a quarrel or disaggreement?
Sahih Muslim Book 032, Number 6205:
Anas b. Malik reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Neither nurse mutual hatred, nor jealousy, nor enmity, and become as fellow, brothers and servants of Allah. It is not lawful for a Muslim that he should keep his relations estranged with his brother beyond three days.
and here is another hadis.. ^_^
From Abu Ayyub al-Anshari : Rasulullah saw said :
" It is not right for a man to abandon his brother for more than three days".
( Bukhari, Muslim )
( Bukhari, Muslim )
Why not only one day?Why must three? Everyone knows that logically, not talking to each other is not good. But, Allah has given us this opportunity, a space for us to think, to sit back, to resolve the anger, to be more rasional in taking action. Learn to accept, to be patience and to forgive. Muhasabah on what we have did. It's not about the numbers of days, it's about to realise that the focus is not on the problem, it's on the solution !
SubhanAllah..our fitrah is focusing on making us a realistic human being, not an idealistic one !
Remember that no matter how bad the day is, or how hard it is...it will eventually end....
Remember that upon all the bad things that have happened, there must be this ONE superb thing that will vanish all the bad things..like a detergent.. And It's the power of LOVE..
ALLAH knows what's the best for us. He knows what's deep inside our heart. He knows what we are hoping for.
Use our secret and super duper powerful weapon - the greatest weapon ever in the history of mankind -
The DUA'... use it to re-built the broken pieces of our heart, to stay connected to Him.
And I'm reminding myself that there's no such thing as so-they-live-happily-ever-after in this life. We only have this opportunity after both of our feet entering Jannah..
There is always a good reason and explanation beyond everything that we assume as a bad luck. Be positive, Husnuzhon, and we will be shown..
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
65:2 With that is admonished he who believes in Allah and the Latter Day.
And whoever keeps his duty to Allah, He ordains a way out for him,
65:3 And gives him sustenance from whence he imagines not. And whoever trusts in Allah, He is sufficient for him. Surely Allah attains His purpose. Allah indeed has appointed a measure for everything.
(At-Talaq : 2,3)
Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal....
So, How many fingers do you see?
* Cute kan jari ni, gemok-gemok dan macam sosej, ok brainstorming session hihi,
who knows what is the mechanism of this sign ?
life is short....
ReplyDeleteyet we try to accomplish a lot of things within this period. it's not a bad thing; rather it's a divine thing. but be sure that you're ready to receive things as they are. changing them will need a lot of hard work and time. don't lose hope.
even with all things said above, never stop trying. NEVER EVER. end result is not the main concern, but the hardship and all the things that were sacrificed along the way that count. and maybe things that were sacrificed will lead to changes that we hope for.
be strong. we cry and we bleed, not for anyone but HIM.
life is short. so make everything count.
Yep, so true.
ReplyDeleteMany people hate adversity, and everyone wants security. However, security is non existent. This adversity will make us a TRUE person, a tough one, only if we try to make opportunities out of it.
Unfortunately, we always forget this, especially when it comes to a bad situation.
Knowing the basic principle - the cry and bleed 'phenomenon' is not for anyone but HIM will make us keep standing on the ground, facing the ups and downs of life and at last, discovering that,
this adversity is a blessing in disguise.
Only need to be patience before you can see the end result.
jzkk for the opinion. May we have a world of opportunities, and can act on them wisely.
wsalam
I think the fingers are related to Heart Disease, It's called clubbing. But I think it's also related to other disease. It's pathophysiology is quite unknown and there's been many proposals about it. But I think it's maybe because the heart pumping is reduced, so blood accumulates and cause distension of Blood Vessels.
ReplyDeletebtul mursyid..bagus..ni belum masuk klinikal year lagi, dah mantap..
ReplyDeleteclubbing etiology is unknown but most probably it cause by neurocirculatory reflex, leading to increased blood flow through multiple arteriovenous shunts in the distal phalanges. Increased blood flow then leads to tissue hypertrophy and hyperplasia.
mostly cause by pulmonary disease.Usually by tumor ie lung cancer. Chronic pulmonary infection pon bleh jd cz gak.
2nd most common cause is by heart disease such as Cyanotic congenital heart disease, Infective endocarditis and few others.
lain -lain including Chronic hepatic and gastrointestinal disease.
